Wildcats unsure if Kelly can lace it up

Ellensburg, WA.---

It's still up in the air on whether or not Central Washington's leading rusher will be able to suit up against Western Oregon Saturday.

@  The team hopes he can give it a go in the battle in Seattle at Qwest. Kelly currently battling knee issues that kept him out of last week's game against Southern Oregon.

Kelly is that nation's 19th leading rusher is averaging 109 yards on the ground per game. He also has eight rushing touchdowns on the season.  Here's what the head ball coach had to say about Kelly's status for this weekends game:

Blaine Bennett said, "Bryson Kelly still has a knee issue. I don't think he will be able to play he has an MCL... Probably two weeks out before Bryson Kelly will be able to play for us again. Bryson Kelly is practicing this week. We're trying to get him up to full speed. He's at about 75 percent at yesterdays practice. Hopefully we can dress and get him out at the game at Qwest this Saturday. But he probably won't play very much against Western Oregon.">

Running back Levi Taylor a true freshman will take the bulk of the carries, if Kelly cannot give it a go. Central Washington plays this Saturday up at Qwest field in the battle in Seattle against Western Oregon.  Game time set for 6 pm.
