Sisouvanh jury hears tapes with psychologist

KENNEWICK, Wash.--  Thursday a Benton County jury got to hear tapes of a conversation between a psychologist and a woman accused of murder.

Phien Sisouvanh has pleaded innocent by reason of insanity to charges of killing a pregnant woman and cutting out the unborn baby.

In a tape recorded this summer, you can hear Sisouvanh saying she knows she's pregnant, even after two years of being behind bars.  The defense has been talking to the psychologist, Dr. Philip Barnard, since Wednesday.  Dr. Barnard says a number of different psychological and neurological tests point to her being classified as insane.

The trial continues Friday.
