YAKIMA, Wash. – This week local businesses and organizations will do their part to raise money for ‘OHANA, Memorial's Mammography Center, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Fundraising efforts include selling pink hair extensions, purchasing fitness-related products, as well as baked goods.
The 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser is Wednesday, Oct. 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Yakima Public Safety Communications on 200 S. 3rd Street in Yakima.
Other opportunities to support ‘OHANA include the Eisenhower High School football game Friday, Oct. 22 and the Safeway yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 23.
