YAKIMA, Wash. -- October 20th is National Disability Mentoring Day, and about six participants with EnTrust Community Services stopped by the KNDO-TV station Wednesday morning to take a tour.
Mentoring Day allows for students to visit the workplace to observe and learn about possible employment prospects.
Disability Mentoring Day is hosted by EnTrust Community Services, a non-profit employment and training agency serving people with disabilities.
EnTrust works closely with students with disabilities in several locations, including Yakima, Ellensburg and Sunnyside. There are about 100 students throughout the Yakima Valley currently enrolled in the program.
