Central feeling confident going into the bye week

Ellensburg, WA.--

      It's all smiles for Central Washington heading into it's bye week. The Wildcats besting Humboldt State on homecoming Saturday, winning 26-18.

      The win catapulted Central into first place in the GNAC conference.  Coach giving credit to the men in the trenches, as Central out gained Humboldt 340 yards to 220 in the victory.

     Head coach Blaine Bennett said, "Offensively I thought we controlled the line of scrimmage did what we had to do and got a victory like we needed. Yeah we got to win a couple more... We're going to take some time off let these guys get healthy. Bye week this time of year is great when you're in the mix and certainly we're in the mix right now. So that's exciting."
