ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- Search and rescue crews found a hiker that had gone missing in the Ingalls Lake area near Ellensburg.
The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office says Natalya Manko has been found safe. Crews spotted her Tuesday afternoon under a red poncho she was using as shelter.
The sheriff's office says Manko is alert and able to walk. She is being flown out by helicopter.
The 50 year old Tacoma woman failed to return Saturday from a day hike in the area near Mount Stuart. Her car was found at a trailhead.
A weekend storm brought snow to the area. The sheriff's office asked winter rescue teams to help with the search Tuesday.
