Washington State Troopers are asking for the public's help to give them more information about a car accident that left a Umatilla woman in serious condition.

Detectives from Monroe, Washington are spending two days in Kennewick to investigate the crash.

It happened Tuesday, October 19th around 4:15 PM at the intersection of Hildebrand Boulevard and US 395. Witnesses tell troopers a Fed-Ex truck ran a red light and hit two other cars. 51 year old Karen Arbogast of Umatilla was seriously injured.

Deputy Sergeant, Jerry Cooper says, "the state patrol is requesting anybody who may have seen the crash or any of the vehicles leading up to the crash to please give us a call." You can reach them at 360-805-1192.

Arbogast was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle because she was believed to be brain dead and is an organ donor. However, doctors discovered she was showing signs of brain activity. She is still in serious condition.
