Horse trainer and TV host brings horseman clinic Ellensburg

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Horse trainer and TV host Ken McNabb will return to Central Washington this week to offer tips on becoming better horse riders at a three-day clinic.

McNabb says the horseman clinic helps people of all backgrounds from beginners to professionals. Participants range from beginners to professionals. His favorite aspect of his clinics across the country is the love everyone has for horses.

"There is no reason for any of us to have to own horses," said McNabb. "We own them for the sheer enjoyment of it, and frankly the enjoyable life we get as a partner and as a pet."

The Horseman Clinic will come to Ellensburg Thursday, Nov. 4 and run till Nov. 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Bloom Pavilion at the Kittitas County Event Center will host the event.

"My experience has been fantastic, I love Ellensburg," he said. "It's sort of a western Mecca right there, it's got a great ranch theme, it's got a great western heritage."
