Life Care Center of Richland already thinking Christmas
RICHLAND, Wash.-- The Life Care Center of Richland is already thinking about Christmas. Each year the Center gets involved with the "Operation Christmas Child" campaign.
The goal is to fill up shoe boxes with Christmas gifts and send them to children in third world countries. Organizers from the Life Care Center say its a gift that costs next to nothing, but could change the lives of these kids.
"To me, if I was one of those children, I can only imagine what it would be like. I think maybe like winning the lottery. You know, something that's overwhelming," says Activities Director Kelli Stevens at the Life Care Center of Richland.
If you would like to put together your own Christmas box you have until November 11th. For more information, including drop-off locations and gift ideas, click here!
