The Washington State Patrol is looking to hire 60 trooper cadets to fill positions across the state, the organization announced Monday.
In the past two years, WSP has seen many of its staff retire and that created many of these vacancies all at once. The recruitment process begins with a screen process and then moves to training. Trooper cadet tests will be offered this Saturday, Nov. 6 as well as on Dec. 4. Selected candidates will then move on to the Academy class in Spring 2011.
Applicants interested in testing should contact Trooper Dena Hazuka at (360) 239-4904 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tests are conducted at the WSP Training Academy on 631 West Dayton-Airport Road in Shelton.
