City of Richland moves forward on finding management for golf courses
RICHLAND, Wash. -- The city of Richland has agreed to enter into a five year deal with California based management company "Course-Co". They'll oversee Columbia Point Golf Course.
Richland's administrative services director, Ron Musson, says if Kennewick follows the same course, both cities could benefit,"The outcome of that would be is that we can share resources between the two courses potentially which could help us reduce cost on a ongoing basis potentially."
The issue was not on the Kennewick City Council agenda last night. The city manager says the council will look at whether to allow "Course-Co" to manage the Columbia Park Golf Course at their next meeting on November 16th.
