Central Washington Wildcats Say They Won't Look Past Anybody

Posted: Updated:

ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- The Central Washington Wildcats are down to the home stretch, literally. Their last two games are at home in front of the Wildcat Faithful at Tomlinson Stadium.

The Wildcats sit at the top of their conference right now but need to win out to give themselves a good chance at making the playoffs.

Next up, Simon Fraser this Saturday at 12:05pm. Remember, you can catch that game live on SWX. The Wildcats have to make sure they don't look past the Clan, who have just one win this season.

"We don't overlook any opponent," said Running Back Bryson Kelly. "We do film the same. We practice the same, as if it was the best team in the nation so we are not looking past them. This is another stepping stone to get to the conference championship."

"We're trying to remind our guys that you got to come and play every time and make sure we take care of business here at Tomlinson Stadium," said Head Coach Blaine Bennett. "Their a GNAC opponent and we want to become the GNAC champions again this year so we have to do a nice job of preparing all week and we have. Now, it's time to get ready to go at 12 o'clock at Tomlinson Stadium."
