Ams Lose in Captain's Return

Posted: Updated:

Kennewick, WA.---

Ams captain Kruise Reddick returned to the ice Saturday night at home against Red Deer.  His first game since October 8th, where he took a big hit from a Brandon player that gave him a concussion.

His return did not spark the Americans defense, which struggled against the Rebels offense.  Goaltender Drew Owsley allowed five goals on just 24 shots against Red Deer Saturday.

The Americans play again next Friday on the road at Everett, and then Saturday at Spokane.  Against the Chiefs, the Americans will welcome back another player that's been out of the line up for a significant period of time.  That man would be Brendan Shinnimin who will making his return from a 12 game suspension.
