Marquee area signings took place at various local high school on Wednesday. At Southridge, let's just say if signing is any indication, the boy's baseball team this spring should be lights out.
Brothers Ty and Bryce Jackson signing on to play baseball at Washington State. Teammate Spencer O'Neil staying in the Pac-10 and signs to play baseball at Oregon. Something tells me this baseball team will be good next year.
Not to be left out of the Suns mix would be softball player Caitlin Klepper. She signed on to play at UNLV.
Over at Richland, the Bombers top player volleyball player committed to Washington State. Chelsey Bettinson put ink to paper to play for the Cougs next fall. Bettinson leads the second ranked Bombers in kills, and earned first team all conference honors this year.
Four Chiawana Riverhawks will be moving on to college athletics next year as they signed their letters of intent. Soccer play Erin Huisingh signed on to play with Concordia University.
Three lady Riverhawk basketball players also signing on the dotted line Wednesday. Mikalea Rivard signing with Portland State University. Haley Hodgins signing on to play for Eastern Washington, while Melaine Valdez plans to lace it up for Central Washington.
