5th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast was a big hit in Richland
RICHLAND, Wash.- The Richland Rehabilitation Centers fifth annual Veterans Day Breakfast was a hit this year.
Organizers say they didn't keep an exact head count, but they went through twice as many eggs as last year.
Biscuits and Gravy were served, along with some war stories.
"There was a lot of exaggeration along the line, and of course there were a lot of things that weren't said that could have been said. A lot of real experiences some of them not so great and others good," says resident Ed Neumayer.
Organizers say it was those stories that inspired them to start having the breakfast.
