Third suspect identified in connection to homicide

YAKIMA, Wash. -- An arrest warrant was issued Friday for a Hispanic man from Outlook who might be connected to Tuesday's homicide in Sunnyside.
In release sent out by the Yakima County Sheriff's Office, detectives report locating vehicles connected to Tuesday's murder where Alfred Prather, 23, of Yakima was shot and killed on the 1700 block of Randel Road in Sunnyside.
The Washington State Crime Lab is working with the Yakima County Sheriff's Office in processing those vehicles.
Detectives Friday, issued an arrest warrant for Noel Rodriguez, 20, for conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance with a firearm charges.

Deputies have arrested two other men in connection to the murder. A 20-year-old from Sunnyside and 24-year-old from Wapato were taken into custody for unrelated charges. Deputies also searched the home of one of the suspects, where they found a handgun. The suspects' names are not being released at this time.
An autopsy Friday revealed Alfred Prather bled to death after being shot twice in the chest, according to Yakima County coroner Jack Hawkins.
According to deputies, Prather and a friend were trying to buy drugs when Prather was shot. Deputies say Prather had been dropped off at a hospital in Toppenish with multiple gunshot wounds, where he later died. Deputies were able to track down a witness from the hospital's surveillance video.
