KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A new restaurant chain is coming to the Tri-Cities. Bob's Burgers and Brew is getting ready to flip its doors open at the end of this month in Kennewick.
The restaurant chain is preparing to hire 100 people. Managers and corporate officials were in the Tri-Cities Friday conducting interviews before the November 29th opening.
Construction workers are still putting the finishing touches on Bob's Burger and Brew off U.S. Highway 395 and Hildenbrand Road. This is the 11th franchise, and the 2nd one in Eastern Washington. They just opened a restaurant in Yakima this time last year and it's doing well so far.
Manager Christine Gren says, "We've heard amazing things about Tri-Cities. We believe they have a lot to offer our business as we have to offer them. We're hearing that the people here like to eat out and we're excited to provide them that place."
Bob's daughter says they like the up and coming area. They are in a brand new plaza with wine shops. She says right now, there are several things under construction nearby including a water park, ball parks and a hospital expansion.
