Drink CWU students overdosed on stops sales to New York
YAKIMA, Wash- The fallout from last month's mass overdose at a Roslyn house party keeps coming. The makers of Four Loko, the now infamous alcoholic energy drink, have agreed to stop shipments to New York. This comes after the state's top beer distributors agreed to stop selling caffeinated alcoholic drinks.
Just last week Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna won his crusade to ban alcoholic energy drinks like Four Loko in Washington State. The drink got national recognition last month when police revealed that it sent nine central Washington University students to the hospital. The FDA is currently reviewing the safety of the drinks.
