Cold weather shelters forced to push back opening day

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash-- Temperatures have been below freezing at night in Yakima, and many homeless do not have a place to spend those cold nights. The opening of extreme weather shelters was scheduled for Monday November 15, but due to a shortage of volunteers they won't open until December first.  That December first date will only happen if they get enough volunteers.  If you would like to help, contact Sunrise Outreach Center. http://www.sunriseoutreachcenter.com/index.html
