KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Some elementary students in Kennewick are trying to stack their way into the records books. Children at Southgate Elementary took part in the event to break the Guinness World Record for people "sport stacking" at different locations in one day.
Jonah Woods, a 5th grader says, "it's fun because it helps me with a lot of stuff. It helps me with my cross brain, it helps me read better and it helps me better at sports."
Students from different grades came to participate in a variety of ways including relays, teams of two, and by themselves. Southgate was involved in the same event back in 2008 and although they didn't win, they hope this year will be different.
