Kennewick Police investigate string of business burglaries
KENNEWICK, Wash -- Kennewick Police have been working a string of business burglaries over the last two days. Friday, burglars tried to break into 10th Avenue Cleaners and Hair Masters on 3001 W. 10th Avenue. Nichole Thornton, a hair stylist at Master Cuts says this is the second time the business was targeted. "We had to get our phone line fixed. Because I guess they thought we had an alarm. So they just snipped it. So for a while our whole credit card system was down. It kind of created a lot of problems here," says Thornton.
Saturday burglars hit up and actually broke into Salon Monroe located on 2411 S. Union Street. Then another hair salon was hit just thirty minutes later, the Super Cuts on 4311 W. Clearwater Avenue.
Entry or attempted entry into all of these locations was at the rear of the businesses where the suspects forced their way through locked doors. Contact the Kennewick Police Department with any information 509-628-0333 or Crime Stoppers 586-TIPS (5477)
