Here are your top 5 plays of the week:
5.) In the high school state quarterfinals Waitsburg-Prescott had a day against DeSales. Winning jump ball battles in double coverage helps. Quarterback Zach Bartlow flings it up to TJ Hofer who steals the ball away from Irish defenders, and completes the 96 yard pitch and catch for six.
4.) Kamiakin in top form in Saturday's quarterfinal against Mount Spokane. Wide out Tyler Holle working the foot drill in the corner to earn play number four. He had two touchdown grabs in this convincing win.
3.) Prosser did not have much to cheer about in its loss to East Valley Spokane, but on this play everyone stand up and take notice of the Mustangs. Cesar Lopez flies in and blocks the punt, and collects his fortunes for a touchdown.
2.) Connell working its way into our top five yet again. At play number two, Eagles applying pressure on Chelan's quarterback forcing a misfire right into the waiting arms of Ryan Heinen. After he reels in the pick he has nothing but open road for the touchdown.
1.) Back to the Lamp for the Kamiakin's convincing win over Mount Spokane. This is how the Braves got rolling... Wildcats quarterback Carson Blumenthal's pass goes off his receivers hands and into the waiting arms of Dom Davis. He returns it to the house for a touchdown... Davis and company roll from there and advance to the state semifinals against Capital.
