Connell 1A State Semifinal Moved to Lampson Stadium

CONNELL, Wash. -- There is a change in location and time of Saturday's 1A state semifinal between Connell and Omak.

The game will be played at 4pm, right after the Kamiakin/Capital 3A semi at Lampson Stadium. It had been scheduled to be played in Moses Lake previously.

The Eagles insist their ability to play together as a unit is one reason they are in the state semis this weekend.

One reason for that unity is they have been playing with one another since they were very young.

"In grid kids, all the schools play together on one team and ever since then we have always just known each other," said Defensive End Bryant Andersen. "I think to have a good team you just have to have a bond like that, be brothers like that. Without team chemistry, you don't have anything. You have to be able to rely on your teammates to be able to make a play so you can make your own play."
