KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The snow is impacting many local teams practice schedules this week. Kamiakin really feeling the hurt of all the snow.
Lampson Stadium simply covered in a blanket of white. The Braves hopes to have the snow shoveled off the field for Wednesday's practice. Anyone who wants to help shovel the field can starting at 11am Wednesday.
For now, the Braves are working inside the gym, preparing for their 3A state semifinal game against Capital.
"Football's an outdoor sport," said Braves Receiver Tyler Holle. "It's definitely different. I don't know how its going to affect us. Hopefully, we'll be able to get out their tomorrow and Thursday and practice out there."
"It's not the best environment we can have," said Braves Head Coach Scott Biglin. "Luckily, today is our preparation day. So, we do a lot of walk throughs and keys and reads right now. To get it inside where they don't have to worry about being cold, it might be a bonus for us."
