KENNEWICK, Wash.—Many shoppers got up before the sun rose Friday morning to get a piece of Black Friday sales.
Some shoppers say they lined up Thanksgiving night, others started at 2:00am, and many waited until the late morning hours. However, the trick, KNDU is told, was to scope out price cuts days before.
"You have to go shopping. It's like the holiday starts," says Lyuba Dik, shopper.
Another shopper says she's never gone out on Black Friday, but now she knows, it's not as scary as she thought it would be.
"Everybody has been very polite even the shoppers. There hasn't been any push or shove or anything like that, which is probably pretty unusual. So I've enjoyed it. I've had a good time," says Arlene Bennett, shopper.
