KENNEWICK, Wash --it was a festive family day at the Three-Rivers Convention center in Kennewick with the Annual Mid-Columbia Christmas Celebration. Kids and parents began their day having breakfast with Santa.  It cost $6 and the money raised went to Young Life and The Boys and Girls Club.

"Young Life works with middle school and high school kids and we need as much support and finances as we can to continue to reach more and more kids to give them a positive place to be to help them develop their life, their friends and their faith," says Rich Ward, the Executive Director of Young Life.

There was also a Festival of Trees where people and businesses donated and decorated 10 different Christmas Trees.  Those go for auction December 2.  All the money raised will go to benefit Young Life.
