PASCO, Wash . -- This week, students from the three high schools will take part in Enterprise Week at The Trac in Pasco.
Students are placed in teams that operate as a business and are responsible for designing a certain product.
"There's more to it than just designing, there's a lot of numbers involved so you decide how many you're going to make, at what price, how many people are going to be making them. So, just a lot of different things that are little put into one object," says high school senior Yessica Diaz.
Students will develop a marketing strategy for a product, conduct meetings about the product, and present it to judges.
This is the eleventh year of the program which is designed to expose students to possible careers that require higher education.
