If you've driven down Columbia Center Blvd. recently you may have noticed a new look for Applebee's.
The corporate headquarters decided to revitalize 21 restaurants in the Northwest, and the Kennewick location is the first to get the facelift.
Managers say they worked to give a chain restaurant a local atmosphere with pictures and murals from people who live and work in the area.
"This is your neighborhood and we talk about Applebee's in the neighborhood. We want you to feel comfortable here and we want you to come and celebrate and have a good time. That's what we're all about," Myrna Manning, an Applebee's manager said.
Applebee's is considered the largest casual dining chain in the world, and the Kennewick location is the second largest Applebee's franchise in the country.
