TACOMA, Wash. - It wasn't the story book ending the Kamiakin Braves wanted to their season. Bellevue beat them 38-0 in the 3A State Championship game at the Tacoma Dome on Friday afternoon.
It is the Wolverines 8th state title since 2001 and 3rd in a row. For the Braves, it was their 2nd championship game appearance and their 2nd loss in as many tries.
The Wolverines took advantage of Kamiakin turnovers to take a 31-0 halftime lead and then ran out the clock in the 2nd half.
