KENNEWICK, Wash.- Schools have blood drives all the time, but students at Richland High do theirs with a twist.
This year's theme was Harry Potter. The photography class pitched in by blowing up display boards of the famous book covers, and volunteers wore the Hogwart's uniform.
About 200 students signed up to give blood, some for the first time.
@"I was really nervous and she's one of my best friends so I asked her to come help me and hold my hand. I feel like it's a good thing for someone else and even though it's hard for me it will benefit someone else," says Madison Leininger.
Red Cross workers from Yakima and Bend Oregon came to provide additional help for the drive.
