KENNEWICK, Wash.- High-Tech toys are at the top of many lists this gift buying season.
The Consumer Electronics Association says electronic gadgets ranked as the most sought after gift with shoppers expected to spend an average of $232 dollars each. That's a 5% increase from last year. Management at staples says the rise makes sense with technology growing faster than price tags.
"They sound as good as what $30 headsets used to be and now they're $14. now your $100 headsets, which are unbelievable, are what used to be a professional studio quality headset," says Sales Manager Scott Brewer.
Headsets, Digital cameras, and the Kindle are some of the more popular products at Staples.
