RICHLAND, Wash. -- The City of Richland is expanding their energy services program to help reduce energy bills. They will offer offers free CFL light bulbs and low-flow shower heads to Richland residents.
The goal is to reduce energy loads while creating lower utility rates. The pilot program started a few months ago and because of its success, energy auditors are out in the neighborhoods trying to save you money.
Energy Specialist, Dawn Senger, says "They will go in and do the change outs and then they'll do what's called a 'mini-audit' to see if there's any other energy savings measures that we can offer to the customers."
