RICHLAND, Wash. -- The Richland planning commission held a meeting Wednesday night to discuss zoning issues with the proposed annexation of land near Queensgate Drive.
The land includes three wineries along with residential homes and some agricultural use. Some property owners have expressed their opposition to the annexation.
"Well, it takes at least 60 percent of the evaluation of the area to bring it in the city, so the larger group kind of dictates," says deputy city manager, Bill King.
According to King, the results from the workshop will be presented at the city council meeting January 26th.
