Locally produced movie looking for extras

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash- The second month of filming is underway for what is believed to be the first feature-length film ever made in Yakima.  Saturday the cast and crew filmed three indoor scenes.  The movie, Hannah and Jude, is a story about childhood friends who reunite later in life.  The 78 member cast and crew are all local and the director is still looking to fill some positions.

"I could always use more extras because the story is that this is a band and there's going to be a bunch of concert scenes so I always need people that are willing to jump up and down," says director Nathan Merritt.

The movie is scheduled to film every Saturday for the next six months.  It could be ready for release as soon as August.  If you want to learn more about the Hannah and Jude film, visit http://www.autumndaypictures.com/hannahandjude/.
