Top Five Plays of the WeekPosted: Updated:
Here are your top five plays from this past week in local sports:
5.) To Toppenish where senior Wildcat 'Super' Mario Sanchez with a steal on an Ellensburg player, and then executes the dish down the floor to perfection. The pass right in stride to Peter Equiha, who cashes in from short change.
4.) In play number four we have a double steal. Southridge's Dallas Jones striped by Stephen Walter of Chiawana, who ten gives it right back to the Suns. After the interception, Southridge point guard Dallin Palmer feeds Jones who this time finds a way to finish.
3.) Play number three shown in slow motion so you can appreciate Tanner Urlacher's half court feed on a dime to Paul Phinn. He finishes the easy up and under from there for the Cadets. Looks just as pretty in real time too.
2.) One more top before play number one and it's at Kamiakin. Khadidja Toure leaving Hermiston defenders shaking. She sets up the spin and no one left to contest the lay in. Toure spinning her way into play number two.
1.) No doubt about play number one. To the Toyota Center where the Ams battled Seattle on Friday night. Mason Wilgosh in the first period pushed the puck up the ice to Brendan Shinnimin, and everyone had a bear of a time. After the goal, the fans threw Teddy Bears onto the ice, and after the clean up on the ice those Bears were donated to Mid-Columbia Charities.
