If Ferris isn't up to basketball speed yet because of the long football season, then the rest of the GSL better watch out. The Saxons used a pesky defense and an apt offense to put away Central Valley 82-52.

Senior forward Taylor Kamitomo led Ferris in scoring with 21 points. He also put himself in the right places at the right times to help his team cause turnover after turnover, which the Saxons often converted into points.

Riley Stockton added 17 for the Saxons and Jack Head quietly scored 13.

Ferris plays Lewis and Clark at home on Friday, followed by a game against Mead on Saturday.

Central Valley's next game is Friday against Mead. The Bears play Rogers on Saturday.
