KENNEWICK, Wash. -- $40,000 is going into this year's living nativity at the Cathedral of Joy's campus in Richland. The show has been around for about four decades and organizers promise this year to bring all the bells and whistles the community has come to expect.
Our crews went on a special tour of the nativity before it starts Friday. Church leaders brought in animals, even camels from Spokane for the outdoor portion of the show.
Pastor Bryan White said, "The inside is an amazing experience and it's wonderful, but for me, the parade of animals and the shepard in the beginning and little kids. It's so fun to see them journeying together."
The first show starts tomorrow at 6 PM. Following that, you can catch one everyday at 6 and 7:15 PM until December 23rd. The only time it's not playing is on the 20th. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
