Richland military family reunited for the holidays
RICHLAND, Wash. -- This a very special holiday for the Simpsons because it is the first time in two years the Richland family will be all together.
Three of the four children are active in the military and are never home at the same time, until Sunday.
US Marine Josh Simpson returned from combat in Afghanistan and saw his brother and sister, Jason and Rachel both active in the US Army across the country.
Their mother is over-joyed. "I got all four kids home this year so that was a blessing that he could make it before he takes off for Europe. So I got him for two weeks and everything, so it's a nice feeling," says Cindy Simpson.
Josh Simpson was welcomed by the ACE organization and family at the Bethyl Church in Richland. He is home until December 28, and then goes to Camp Pendleton in California.
