Synthetic marijuana products banned

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.—A federal ban on synthetic marijuana products went into effect December 24th, and now the Washington State Pharmacy Board has voted to make it a state law starting next month.

The law would prohibit products such as K-2, Spice and Black Mamba to be sold as incense.

The ban is expected to go into effect early next week or in early January.
