Central Washington Longs to Play at Home

    You might not know this, but 11th ranked Central Washington has played 12 games this season.  The reason you may not know about the Wildcats 10-2 start, deals with the fact the Wildcats have only played four homes games.  CWU spending the earlier part of this season on the road, playing in various tournaments.

     On Saturday, the Wildcats capped off a two game home stand with a 109-92 win over Alaska Fairbanks.  After the game, head coach Greg Sparling talked about life on the road.

    Sparling said, "I like us being road tested, but I also miss the opportunity to showoff our team at home at Nichols Pavilion. I would really like to get more home games. I loved to be able to showcase this team. This team is fun to be around... fun team to watch... they're very explosive."

    The Wildcats continue their road tour, as their next three contests are on the road.
