KENNEWICK, Wash. - Christmas is over and many people are getting around to taking down their trees.  Here's where you can take it.

If you live in Kennewick,  you can take your tree to the Waste Management transfer station at the corner of Ely Street and 27th Avenue for free until the end of the month, regular business hours. They are closed Sundays.

Richland residents have a few free options until January 9 such as the Badger Mountain Park on 350 Keene Road and the pool on 1005 Swift Blvd.

Basin Disposal and Ed's Disposal customers can place their trees 2 feet to the side of their trash container on their regularly scheduled garbage day.  It's free within the city limits. There will be a fee for county residents or for trees taken to the transfer station at 1721 Dietrich Road, Pasco. Fees are based on the size of the tree and start at $15.
