RICHLAND, Wash. -- Richland Police Arrested a man who they say stole a tip jar out of the Starbucks on Gage Blvd and Keene Road Sunday afternoon.

18 year old Evan Archibald is charged with second degree robbery.

A customer says Archibald took the tip jar off the counter and went into the restroom.  When staff confronted Archibald, they say he ran out the door and tried punching them.

"He missed a little bit, I ducked out of the way, and yea he went for it, he was trying to hit me.  I think his hand may  have collided with the lady's window next door, but he didn't actually get me," says Justin Reynolds the shift manager.

They were able to write down the man's license plate number and police later arrested Archibald, who they say confessed to the crime.
