KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Marie Mosley can officially drop the "Interim" off her title after being elected as Kennewick City Manager Tuesday night.
City Council voted in her favor with a five to two vote. Mosley has been running the office since Bob Hammond resigned three months ago.
Continuing the city's development is at the top of Mosley's agenda. "The Bridge-to-Bridge area is one of the priorities for our city council, along with the Southridge area. The entertainment district, Three Rivers Entertainment District area. We're looking at all of those areas and what potential opportunities are there and what partnerships are there," said Mosley.
Before rising to her current position, Mosley managed the city's finance department for nearly a decade.
