Central Washington knows how to win. The 17th ranked Wildcats have been to the Division 2 Tournament, four of the last five years. This success led Tacoma, Washington native, Jamar Berry to play for CWU.
This senior is currently playing for his fourth school since entering college, mainly because he wants to win. Berry is the second leading scorer this season for Central, and credits his success to his new teammates.
Berry said, "My last few teams I was kind of like the main focus. You really can't make me the main focus on this team so it opens a lot of lanes for me. It takes the attention off of me a little bit."
Head coach Greg Sparling said, "He's playing a little too unselfish for us right now because we need him because he is a pure scorer and we need him to step up and when things start a little slow ... Is he can make shots ... He's explosive."
