KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A group of kids from the Tri-Cities Ballet Academy got to be stars in a national production. They played Munchkins in the Wizard of Oz play Sunday night.
They performed in front of a packed Windamere Theater in the Toyata Center. The kids started training just after Thanksgiving to get ready for their roles.
The owner of the Academy says it was a once in a lifetime experience. The Munchkins will now turn their attention to "Peter and the Wolf", which they will perform at elementary schools this spring.
