Emergency declared in Kittitas County because of flood waters
KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash- A state of emergency was declared in Kittitas County shortly after noon Monday. The sheriff's office says continued flooding has affected about 30 homes, 37 roads, and one commercial property. Twelve families have been evacuated. The Red Cross will open shelters if needed. There are road closures at Riverbottom, Dollarway, Ringer Loop and a section of Hungery Junction and Reecer Creek.
