PROSSER, WA- Benton County election workers Wednesday put ballots in the mail for next month's special election in Prosser.
Voters will decide whether to raise their property taxes by $41,000,000 to pay for a new high school.
The existing school is 75-years-old and was designed for about 500 students. This year, the school's attendance is around 900. Many classes are held in aging portable trailers.
Ballots must be returned to the county auditor's office on or before February eighth.
