Ellensburg, WA---

Sixth man and back up forward Jody Johnson (a junior at CWU), is learning to embrace the life of a role player.  He gives credit to senior Jamar Berry for his drive off the bench.  Johnson, the former Yakima Valley Community College standout, leads Central in rebounds, and is fourth on the team in scoring.

Johnson said, "Cause we go at each other every day in practice. He always strives to make me better. He always tell me like... I need you to be my spark and same goes for me. I need him to be my spark. It's a transition... But I mean you know you have to adjust and make the most of it."
