KENNEWICK, Wash.—What would you do if you were told you were going to be laid off from your job? That's the question 1,600 employees will be facing, and Worksource is helping guide them in the process.
A meeting with Worksource and Hanford employees will be held Tuesday to discuss what resources they'll need, including adding extra tools, such as mock interviews or extending services already in place.
"In the case of Hanford, when it's such large numbers, the more they know of what resources are available to them the better they can plan for their employees," says Candice Bluechel with Worksource.
Bluechel says she does not know yet how many of the 1,600 Hanford employees they will be assisting.
