Sandlin: Yakima will be sued, more adult businesses to come
YAKIMA, Wash- If you thought you'd heard the last of the proposed strip club in Yakima, think again.
Tuesday Jamie Muffet and his attorney announced that the City of Yakima will be served with a lawsuit in the next two days. Last year Muffet applied for a license for a topless dance club. Backed by angry citizens, a hearing examiner denied his request although he was in compliance with the city's adult business regulations
"This case is not about morality. This case is not about sex, it's not about Christian values. What this is about its about business. It's about constitutional issues", says Muffet's attorney J.J. Sandlin.
Sandlin also announced that Muffet is looking into opening more adult businesses. No word yet on their locations.
